1986 Mazda 323 DX review from North America
"An economy car with unexpected zip"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had new brakes put on (drums, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, hoses and calipers) and a new clutch. Other replacements include distributor, front ball joints and axles, CV joints/boots, rear wheel bearings and that's about it. Radiator, water pump, fuel pump, starter and alternator are original equipment.
General comments?
This 1.6 liter has a lot of get up and go. No hesitation. No spark knock after all these miles.
It still feels like a solid car and I would not be hesitant to take it out of state (Michigan).
Awesome car.
