1987 Holden Commodore BT1 review from Australia and New Zealand
"V8 thriller"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had this awesome car for over a year now and it hasn't gone wrong on me yet. The only problem I had was just swapping automatic to manual about 6 months ago, in which I had a bit of engineering to do to fit a brand new 6 speed VX SS gear box.
General comments?
I dragged my mates Sylvia 2ltr 18 pound turbo the other day and I was impressed with how my car gave it to it. Before that I installed a four barrel carby and high flow extractors with a 3 inch all the way, and over head filter gave that little extra grunt and a cam also, I found my fuel needle drop, but my at the same time my head got knocked back with the g force.
Just for the fishies, the lsd standard diff came in handy
But looks always come first.
-18" VT SS rims (polished)
-Tinted windows
-Calais interior with electrics and sunroof
-Pioneer sound system, 2x8"splits, 2x 6x9" speakers, 2x 10" subs, with 2x Kenwood 500watt 2 chanel amp for speakers and subs.
