1987 Mazda Demio review from Australia and New Zealand
"A fantastic small car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong apart from a couple of trim screws which fell out.
General comments?
We run 2 Demios as company hacks. These are driven by approx. 12 different people and have never let anyone down.
I am 2 metres tall and it is comfortable
and still has rear legroom behind me, which is more than can be said for my Mondeo.
Thoroughly recommended despite what the road reports say. Sure, they are a bit noisy and firm, but they handle and steer really well.
The only criticism is the price of the unusual sized tyres that Mazda have fitted, although this may be unique to New Zealand.
