1987 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 review from North America
"A sweet ride for an excellent price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had to replace Rack and Pinion.
Underbody is badly rusted.
Had to put new EGR valve and Oxygen
sensor.
Seats are completely worn.
Trunk leaks around wheel wells.
Other than that It's been just regular maintenance, (brakes, exhaust, tie rods, etc)
General comments?
This car still gets up and goes, It can take the new Z's and Sunfire GT's for a joke.
The handling is a little more loose than it was when I first got it, but I drive the car hard.
The car has always started for me whether it was 100 or -40 outside.
The only annoying problems are: The driver door doesn't unlock with a key, and the third brake light burns out after about a week.
I've tinted the windows down to 3%
Installed a 1500W stereo.
