1997 Citroen Saxo VTS review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing really gone wrong yet (after 9,000 miles). My only problems have been a loose gaiter in the nearside wheel arch (recent and to be fixed on first main service), and I pulled the handle off the sun roof screen (two days before first service, but was replaced no problem).
General comments?
I'd give this car 10 out of 10 for most of the above, but then it is only a £13,000 car.
It's a great car, as said many times very chuckable. Performance can be amazing, and fuel economy isn't so bad so long as you don't enjoy yourself too much. One thing - this car can be seriously boring on your favourite windy road if you abide by the speed limit (it's just too grippy). Watch you don't loose your bottle mid corner though as this car can become seriously sideways.
