1986 Pontiac Parisienne brogham review from North America
"Great buy for parts!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Aside from the normal oil, tires, brakes I have replaced the battery and various parts in the interior.
The engine is very tired and needs to be replaced. Hydraulic lifters worn on left side.
The radiator was replaced last summer with a new plastic three core instead of the original four core metal one. It extended the life of my car about a year.
I was very diligent about oil and consumabals.
General comments?
This car was a work horse! I am 6'3
250 lb person and it got me to my work every morning on time. I get looks out on the road from people driving newer nineties cars and they seem to wonder what the car is. It's a great cru-ser.
