1992 Nissan Primera T4 review from Australia and New Zealand
"A superb drivers car"
General comments?
This car handles superbly, very stable under hard braking, comparatively stiff suspension setup gives superb feedback and predictability through corners, although it can be a bit harsh in city driving conditions.
Engine is strong and pulls well, in-gear acceleration (particularly above 3000 revs) is excellent. It will go off the clock (180Km/h in mine) with ease and gets there pretty quick too!
My car was imported from Japan, so I am suspicious about the odometer reading, however the car is in such excellent condition, it is most likely true.
The T4 is 4WD, so from a standing start the initial acceleration isn't as good as some other models, but the overall handling more than makes up for it. The T4 also has Recaro trim on the seats and door panels, plus more supportive seats than the other models.
Very comfortable on long trips.
