1990 Chevrolet Blazer review from North America
"A dependable truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced water pump, engine after 160000 miles, alternator, starter, radiator, heater core, u-joint, coolant temp sensor. The truck had numerous rust holes repaired and the roof rack screws came off after it falling off of a tow-truck with a canoe on it. Both bumpers bent and suspension re-welded from same incident. Vacuum leak after 390000 miles, replaced intake manifold gaskets. General lack of power, likes to overheat.
General comments?
Believe it or not, this truck has only broken down on me once when the alternator went. It just won't give up and I plan to drive it right into the ground. It's got rock hard dependability and it won't let me down.
