General comments?
I took this car to the dealer for a bad oil leak. It costs me over $400 and still leaks. The oil does keep the dust down in my driveway though.
The only real driveability problem has been the hot stalling. It reminds you of the older cars that vapor locked. I have narrowed it down to the infamous TFI module on the distributor. No problem if the outside temperature stays below 85 deg and you don't let it idle long. Best advice is to buy a small electronic game to play while it cools off.
The rear strut mounts were replaced, but did not stop the "finger nails down the chalk board" screeching. If you put more than a tissue box on the back seat you are in for a concert that sounds like 50 hamsters running on a rusty wheel. However, the sound system does an adequate job of masking the noise if the fader is set properly.
I did get 34 mpg once on a trip. The mileage now averages about 12 mpg due to some valve they have replaced twice and is due again.
My wife was stranded once and could not shift out of park due to a defective brake light switch.
I would only recommend this car to my ex-wife or a serious weekend mechanic that enjoys frequent challenges.
