1984 Dodge Aries custom wagon review from North America
"A comfortable and economical vehicle"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My head gasket blew at 230000 km which
would've been costly had I not repaired it myself.
The exhaust gas recovery unit has never worked and hasn't affected performance noticeably.
The carburetor is very difficult to set the correct idle speed.
General comments?
A very useful car for carrying a lot of cargo if you don't mind the slow acceleration.
The car is very good on gas even after 18 years of service. Approximately 24 miles per gallon.
A very reliable and inexpensive vehicle to maintain.
