1988 Honda CRX 1.6i-16 review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Gearbox bearing, cluch has worn out at 80,000 miles.
General comments?
Amazing performance for a 1.6-litre car, but the stiff suspension, lack of power steering ('88 models didn't have PAS), and razor-sharp throttle response can make town driving a pain. Noisy on the motorway too. My engine only takes 4-star leaded petrol too which (in Ireland anyway) is over 20% more expensive than unleaded.
