1992 Ford Escort 1.8i Ghia review from Spain
"The more it grows older, the better it runs"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Engine cooling system seems to overwork-perhaps due to spanish specifications-so the water gauge uses to be about to enter in the normal zone... yes I, ve changed the thermometer-4 times-, the fan thermo-switcher, the antifreeze fluid, the indicator sond... simply I've accepted this engine works so cold.
The fifth door and the booth cover are quite noisy when the road becomes irregular.
General comments?
A car born so ugly has the advantage it can't get worse in time.
Interiors keep a taste of solidity... designers made all the hard work inside, explendid dashboard and seats in this version.
