2000 Suzuki Ignis review from Australia and New Zealand
"Great quality for the price, and perfect for a first car."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The clutch is very, very touchy, which means there is a tendency to 'bunny hop' at first. But with familiarisation, this is no problem.
There are some minor grunts when changing gears, this seems to be a case of the car body being a little too heavy for the 1.3 engine. But again, with care and smooth gear changing, I would say that the car is close to being silent.
General comments?
At times, the car is so quiet I wasn't quite sure if it was going or not!
The lumbar support on the front seats is the best I have come across, sure the seats are firm (you can't expect much from a cheap priced car), but the contours fit like a glove.
The steering and swiftness are superb, and the view through all of the windows is great.
