1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL review from North America
"Expensive to maintain but luxurious and fast"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
With the exception of the transmission, everything in this vehicle has either been replaced or rebuilt.
The engine had a lower end rebuild at 145,000 miles.
All struts and strut mounts had to be replaced.
The electrical system is a nightmare. The car is on its third alternator and fifth battery.
As mentioned before EVERYTHING has been replaced or rebuilt.
General comments?
Very comfortable leather interior.
I like the stereo and climate controls on the steering wheel.
Great styling on this sports sedan.
Very high maintainance.
The 3.4 engine is very expensive to have serviced.
Very poor fuel economy (15 mpg)
