1994 Renault 21 TXE review from Argentina
"A comfortable, quick brick"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Timing belt & idler tensor (changed preventively when the car was purchased).
Air conditioner system gas charge at 95000km.
Rear brakes pistons replaced preventively at 96000km.
Front shocks at 97000km.
Spark plugs at 97000km.
Battery dead at 97500km.
Rear shocks at 101000km. Not a preventive replacement: a bolt was broken, breaking the left rear shock.
Silencer / last portion of the exhaust where rusty. It was replaced from the catalyzer.
General comments?
The car is really great in all the ways.
It is very comfortable and easy to drive.
Even if you like to drive quick, this car will not disappoint you.
Also the original stereo sounds great, having a four speaker system, or a plus one, with two extra tweeters on the dash.
