1989 Chevrolet Cavalier 2 Door Coupe review from North America
"A Ferrari in sheep clothing, for 500 bucks anyway"
General comments?
So far it had a worn torque mount, a blown pressure line for the power steering, and basic T.L.C.
Its not the greatest looker on the block, due to a past accident (Due to my best friend.) and a rotted passenger door. However it is currently being repaired to like new condition, including a new paint job (New Holland Tractor Blue) and a new un-rotted door.
I am also replacing the stock 13 inch tires and wheels with older style Z24 aluminum wheels.
From my point of view I belive my car to have the spirit of a muscle car due to the fact that it's acceleration and top speed are wonderful (Plus it will take corners at 85 miles per hour... and no I'm not bluffing. And by the way yes I am mentally unstable. And by the way yes a 2.0 can sound like a two stroke.)
The Hit List: Cars Taken Out
1.) Pontiac Grand Prix 3.1 V6
2.) Cadillac El Dorado 5.7 V8
3.) Cavalier Luxery Sport 2.2 L4
4.) Honda Accord 2.0 L4
5.) Eclipse 2.0 L4.
P.S. It will chirp the tires going into second and roll them off in first, every-time I want it to.
