2001 Volkswagen Jetta GLS review from North America
"A whole lot of car for a little bit of money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car plows in to corners at higher speeds, this means that the front that is taking all the force in the turn dips down and feels like you are plowing snow.
The floor mats are not stain resistant and mark very easily.
The engine is turbo charged, but it doesn't come with an inter-cooler. This makes for a larger lag and rush in the turbo.
General comments?
For all intensive purposes this is a great car. Very quick, great stopping power and distance, the inside of the car is really set up for the driver, trunk space as usual in the Volkswagens is huge, and most of all its very easy to maintain and very reliable.
