2001 Ford Taurus SEL Premium review from North America
"Great Car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Only thing I feel the car is missing is the ability to pull the steering wheel forward or backwards, it has tilt steering, but some cars have the ability to move it closer or further away. And the 6disc CD player is in the center console between the seats, and I rather have it in the trunk so there is more room in the console.
General comments?
I bought a Ford Taurus SEL and have been extremely pleased. I was looking at the Nissan Altima, but for the price I got a lot more car with the ford. The SEL has tons of room in front, back and trunk (excellent if you have kids), very good pickup/acceleration, and is extremely comfortable ride and drive. Great A/C and stereod/cd system. Also an extremely safe car, with double steel bars reinforcing the doors for side impact, as well as front and side airbags, and six crumple zones with drop away engine mounts in the front.
