1991 Mitsubishi Mighty Max review from North America
"Great deal - keeps on going"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing major, typical repairs for a truck with this mileage.
A few exceptions:
The bottom of the driver's seat fell out and I had to swap the parts with the passenger side.
Tie rod end broke on one wheel (while I was driving) at about 160,000 miles.
General comments?
I paid $6,000 for this truck when it was new and it was the best deal I ever made. I have replaced parts on occasion, but that is to be expected on a truck with this mileage.
This truck was driven hard when new, about 28,000 miles per year, now down to about 20,000 and it keeps on running strong.
Still gets 22 MPG even with the air conditioner running.
