1994 Chevrolet Cavalier RS review from North America
"Sporty, powerful, comfortable, and lots of fun to drive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Has a small oil leak after 113,000 miles.
Panel under steering column rattles occasionally.
General comments?
Has more than plenty of power.
Running premium fuel since I got it has restored power and gas mileage, also killed the knocks and pings.
I put 215 width tires on it (195 originally) giving it much better handling. This also helps a lot with acceleration. I recommend this upgrade highly.
Perfect car if you like to drive aggressively on a budget.
It's sporty, but not to where it stands out to cops, so you don't "look" like a speeder like you might in a Z24.
Lots of fun to drive.
It's also fun to surprise a brand new V6 Eclipse or one of those styled out Honda's at a stoplight when you beat them and they thought you had a little four cylinder.
