1985 Holden Calais VK review from Australia and New Zealand
"Most comfy car under $50,000"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Recently started to drip oil
really smokey when pushed (due to the thrashings its had)
timing chain snapped at 160,000kms
rear indicators sometimes don't work rectified with a slap of the hand
sometimes fails to start rectified by kicking the side of the transmission.
General comments?
Bought the car for 2,000 most comfortable car I have sat in, never lets me down
when it does problems are fixing by kicking and punching so servicing is cheap..
Terrible fuel economy though average 16L/ 100k
pretty sluggish car recommend the 308.
