1990 Ford Laser TX3i review from Australia and New Zealand
"Excellent all round performer"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
3rd gear on gearbox stripped.
General comments?
My car, black with white 14' mags, made a perfect car for production car racing as performance was excellent for 1800cc and the car would not require much modification. It rocketed to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and covered the 1/4 mile in a best time of 15.4 sec at 144km/h. Everyone thought the car was a turbo due to it's speed. The car has a comfortable ride and excellent road-holding however the addition of larger wheels and tires would have generated higher cornering speeds. Excellent ecomony if trying, which was not very often.
