1987 Mazda 323 LX review from UK and Ireland

"A practical, economical bargain"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The head gasket and radiator were replaced one week after I purchase it (paid for by the seller).

Replaced the front brake pads at 129000 miles.

Replaced two tyres at same time.

Tends to leak a little oil from various engine gaskets, but only having to put in about one litre per 800 miles.

General comments?

This car is an excellent workhorse.

It is a five door model and can easily accomodate five or even six people.

This is an economical car to run.

This model has most of the modern comforts you would find in newer cars.

Comfy car, but expensive to repair - definitely a disposable car for those who like 'banger-nomics'
