1994 Renault 19 RT Chamade review from Australia and New Zealand
"Could be an expensive car youll never get your money back on"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The automatic transmission went in my car causing the car to have to be towed to a repairer.
This whole exercise cost me $AUD1500 including labour.
Water pump failed and this cost another $200.00.
Fuel injection needed cleaning and also timing belt.
General comments?
This car is a good car for people who want euro flair, but don't want to spend much money.
It is in no way a performance car at all.
The upkeep and interior plastics could be an issue later in life.
