1983 Rover - Austin Quintet review from Australia and New Zealand
"The car is very good for a first car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Water pump packed up.
Thermostat stopped working.
General comments?
The car has only done 62,000 km which is very low considering it is 19 years old. The Rover Quintet is a Honda Quintet with different badges and levels of equipment. The car starts first shot every day. It is sluggish under the foot because it only has a 1.6 litre engine. The car has electric everything and air conditioning which is very good considering how old the car is.
The cabin is very nice, it has velour trim and it has a cosy feel to it.
But there is hardly any leg room for passengers sitting in the back of the car.
