1993 Ford Escort LX review from North America
"Big two door car with just enough torque and enough speed"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Antenna was broken when I got it due to rust and as a result won't go down.
Left power window sticks when half way down tried using silicone and still sticks.
Plastic around the bottom of the seats breaking off, but not a big deal.
Pulls to the right when braking.
General comments?
Very little wear on the seats.
Seats leather and cloth very comfortable and doesn't burn you as bad as all leather.
Has power handles well and overall pretty fast haven't lost race yet.
Raced a 93 Jetta, 93 Escort gt, 94 Dodge Dakota, and a 95 Dodge Stratus.
Air conditioning all powers and everything still work perfectly.
Never had any engine problems and doesn't drip oil.
Got a good deal for 1800 dealer screwed up and said he could sell it for 1700 but that's what it was traded in for so they gave it to me for 1800 so they would still make a profit.
