1994 Dodge Ram Pickup XLT Laramie review from North America
"Solid, roomy, comfortable and feels safe"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
After about 90,000 miles the brake rotors needed turning.
After 100,000 miles the power door lock switch needed replacing.
Shortly thereafter the air conditioner developed a leak in the condenser coil.
After 110,000 miles the (2) doors started to rust at the bottom.
General comments?
When I bought this truck it was 2 years old with 70,000 miles on it. I thought I was taking a huge risk, but I got lucky. It drove and felt like new despite the mileage.
After adding another 50,000 miles it still looks excellent and is reasonably solid.
The only real complaint I have is that the brakes are inferior for the weight of this vehicle.
I'm trading it in for a new one in a couple of days. The new ones are unbelievable. I hope I can say that after having it for a while.
