1983 Renault 18 GTD review from France
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Electric equipment, central locking, seats, steering, suspension, water pump, radiator (at 290.000 km, though), rust in some parts of the body.
General comments?
I have owned this car for more than 5 years now, and I surely don't regret the purchase. At some 315.000 kilometers now, the engine still runs perfect, with no oil consumption, and the car barely needs 6.5 liters to run 100 kms.
It was driven through open roads, highways in France and even rough mountain tracks in Morocco, and never let me down. The weakness of this car is the space in the rear seats, very unsatisfactory.
