1995 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Wagon review from North America

"It could out do my 1992 Viper! (modified)"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Last year the digital speedometer display went out costing me $300.

The rear hydraulic shocks leveling system motor wore out costing me around $600 to fix with used parts.

General comments?

I bought this car new, stripped with absolutely no options, and only one thing in mind-racing. Once I got the car, the hood, doors, and roof were replaced with fiberglass. Then a custom-made performance chip ($2300) was installed, increasing performance about 15-25%. The rear tires were replaced with Good-Year racing slicks. The lights, seats, Am/Fm radio, climate control, windows-replaced with Plexiglas, horn, wipers, carpet, door handles, and some power accessories were all removed to lighten the car. The original transmission was left in the car, and the engine received a blower, and supercharger. The stock exhaust was replaced by straight pipes.

The car can top out approx. 155+ and can cruise to 60mph in 5 seconds with a quarter mile in the low 12's.

Who said wagons were for the Brady Bunch? Because this one is damn fast!

A great high performance boat, a little pricey on the gas
