1997 Daewoo Nubira SE review from UK and Ireland
"A good runner, but a problem with parts and dealers"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes needed replacing after 50,000 miles.
Dealer tried to get me to part with £500 for new brake disks, pads and a new clutch at the 60,000 mile service. Told them I'd wait a bit. Nothing was needed at all, so watch out!
Now got engine problems that are going to cost about £500-800 to fix. Problem is, no-one can do it because Daewoo UK are in administration. Be very careful!
General comments?
The Nubira is a very good car. Fairly economical (~30-35 miles per gallon) but parts and servicing are a real problem.
