1998 Chevrolet Silverado LE review from North America
"Not a dependable truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
ABS went bad at 29,000 miles.
Battery went bad at 30,000 miles.
Water pump blew at 42,000 miles.
Alternator blew at 43,000 miles.
Rear end clunks very loudly.
Dash has warped around vents.
Steering slips on cornering.
Severe engine knocking.
The transmission shifts very hard into second gear.
General comments?
Comfortable to drive.
Expensive to own.
