1992 Honda Civic VTi review from UK and Ireland
"A good car with insane engine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Cam timing belt jumped two teeth and distributer bearing collapsed at 108000 miles (coincidently just after Honda inspected valve clearence).
Excessive front brake pad use after lowering 40mm (under 5000 miles, per set)
Apart from that generally good.
General comments?
Unbelievable performance (0-60 in 7.3 sec and quarter mile in 15.2s, tested by me).
After fitting ferrodo road race pads braking seriously good.
Out-handles a saxo vts after fitting koni shock/spring kit.
Drivers seat OK for me at 6ft 6in, but no space for passenger behind.
Stupid boot design, all plastic no shelf?
