1990 Nissan Maxima Ti review from Australia and New Zealand
"Has a monster of an engine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The main problem is the speedometer. It has a mind of its own. Sometimes it will work or get stuck at a certain speed or completely drop out all together. Have spent over $500 trying to get it fixed and it still doesn't work right.
Alternator died at 165 000km.
Parts are very expensive as they have to come from America.
General comments?
This car is extremely quick - cost me my license.
Have had it up to 180kph and it was still going.
Handles extremely well.
However, when you give it a bit coming out of a corner, the front end feels really light.
