1996 Holden Commodore VS SS review from Australia and New Zealand
"Extremely good value potent with a bit of money spent"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My rocker cover gaskets are weeping slightly.
My boot seal has been replaced.
I have had problems with central locking only required lubrication.
Sterio head unit blew up when two new front speakers were installed.
Found front seats to begin to wear at approx 50,000km.
General comments?
Slightly disappointed with the softness of shift of the 4 speed automatic fited stage 2 shift kit.
Disappointed with the engine note found that a exhaust system from the catalytic converter back was satisfactory (two and a half inch.
Found braking bower to be insufficient fited VX SSfront calipers modifide front rotors and custom hoses.
Modifying my cold air intake increased throttle potency.
Extremly happy with suspension (fe2)
