1994 Honda Civic EX review from North America
"Pretty good starter car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This car is "alright". It's not like you get in the driver seat and say "wow, I'm gonna take out Mustangs with this!" But with time, you can. You can spend money on the neglected d16 motor and make it run pretty fast... racking up some big bucks at the local illegal drag races against the bigger B series. Too bad, I first wanted to go bigger with a B18C1 (GSR) direct swap, but now leaning on purchasing a 99 Eclipse Spyder GS-T.
General comments?
The only Mods I did to my car is a AEM intake and Tanabe Super Racing Medalion Exhaust. I took out a '99 accord by 2 cars. I hanged with a 2002 Corolla Type S by it's back tires. (embarssing for me) I got burnt several times by local integra GSR's. I smoked a poorly modified CRX. And I believed... that's it. I love how when you slip it into 2nd gear at 7,000 RPM... your tires chirp. Now, I'm giving the car to my sister and plan on getting my Spyder.
