1960 Morris Minor Convertible review from UK and Ireland
"Grin Factor 10"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Dynamo failure.
Nasty creak from back end.
General comments?
You can't help, but love these cars - and a convertible is the icing on the cake. Everyone wants a ride in it and comes away with a smile on their face.
Comfort is not good for more than an hour or so - even if you get one with good seats - especially with the awkward positioning of seatbelt straps on some models. Performance is suprisingly good and it certainly doesn't get in the way in town traffic.
The nearest I have had to a breakdown was imminent dynamo/battery failure. However it limped me 35 miles home in the dark and died outside the garage!
Love your Moggie and it will love you back!
