1991 Geo Metro LSi review from North America
"Most reliable car that I've had"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I've had to replace simple things like brakes, tires, battery, wiper blades, etc... Nothing has went wrong while I've had it.
General comments?
I bought this car from a friend of mine who bought it new she parked it because she thought that it was about to fall apart, well it sat for several years and I got it from her for 400.00 a battery and a wax job and it was good as new all it needed was a good tune-up and it was ready to roll again. I have never loved a car so much. I also have never had a car that had so little problems. Its true that this car isn't exactly fast or even quick, but its so reliable for me, always starts during the summer or winter no matter what. The gas mileage is excellent I can fill this little car up for 8.50 and drive for two weeks constant running. The little engine is very easy to work on and parts are easy to find. I change the oil every 2500 miles. I have had many people tell me that my little engine wouldn't last, but it just still tugs along. If I could change anything I would want to get a 5-speed instead of a automatic as the automatic doesn't do well on the highway.
