1987 Mercedes-Benz S-Class SEL review from North America
"One of the best engineered car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Water pump finally gone bad at 220,000.
Fuel pump at 150,000.
Door switches gone bad at 90,000 Mi.
Main door lock triggers alarm when
opening.
All seats are now flat, but leather still in-tact.
General comments?
This car is incredible! Will not give up and keeps on going.
It has been my partner in construction
day in and day out. Beats a truck!!
Will keep it and restore it to perfect
condition. It's been in the family
since day one. It will gracefully grow old with me.
