2000 Tata Safari review from UK and Ireland
"Unreliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Air conditioning was not working when I bought the car.
14 months Later I am still waiting for the parts.
Turbo blew at 15000
turbo blew at 22000
turbo blew at 27000 miles
Cannot obtain parts
Exhaust gasket blew at 24000, still waiting for part.
General comments?
Overall this is a comfortable car, but if you need parts they are impossible to obtain, In the 14 months I have had the car it has been off the road for at least 2 months
Tata do not assist in helping they promise parts to the dealers, but fail to send them. I would buy another 4x4 but would never buy another tata.
