1991 Ford Tempo GL review from North America
"Tempo GL - good, safe, and affordable."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Valve cover gasket went bad (2 bolts busted which a mechanic had to drill out) at 62,050 miles..
General comments?
I purchased the car assuming (as I was told by the dealer.. which was not a ford dealer) that it owned by an elderly woman and was an A title car.. turned out, it was a govt. car (found out on car fax) its super reliable and has the power of V6 w/o the poor fuel economy, and tight responsive handling of a sports car while providing a super quiet and comfortable ride with little roads noise or vibration.
