1978 Mitsubishi Scorpion review from Australia and New Zealand
"Cheap, crazy yet cool"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Number of problems with the car, such as front right shocker currently needs replacing, really the main problems with he scorpion is that on occaision little tubes here and there come off and leave you thinking "time to deliver this to the tip" which can be annoying as hell.
Also had a lot of trouble with burnt out clutch plates etc.
Seats are in shocking condition, I'm about to have these re-done.
General comments?
I see a lot of you happy you dragged Vl's off, all I can say is what the hell do they have in their Vls where you are? I've only ever had 1 Vl come close to keeping up, taken a lot of modified imports on and owned them all, with the exception (strangely enough) of two Wrx's.
Love this car as it can take a corner with power and control, or as soon as you want it to it can take it wild and sideways on command.
I actually am about to get a personal loan and start doing it up, but I need some advice, does anyone here know of anyway to customise body kits to fit the scorpion (just want the front, no side panels etc) I know nothing about body kits and am having a hard time finding out, if you know anything on this please email me on k1ng_@hotmail.com thankyou :)
