1996 Dodge Stratus review from North America
"It would be a nice car if you replaced the drive train with a Ford drive train"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Since I owned the 96 Dodge Stratus I have replaced the transmission four times, had it rebuilt once, five total, four under warranty. One I had to pay for at $2,300. I have also had to replace these parts as well, Head gasket, lower
ball joints, stabilizer end links three times, radiator, front brakes every 15,000 miles, power
steering rack, water pump, timing belt,
window switch, door pin switch, and driver side seat cover.
General comments?
This car is meant to be a paper weight.
I feel so bad for someone who owns this car. and if you recently bought try your hardest to get rid of it.
I also want to note Dodge hasn't good willed any thing, No support from Dodge.
