1989 Mazda B2200 Extra cab review from North America
"A good daily small work truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Head blew at 288000 K, had engine rebuilt.
Normal stuff brakes, exhaust, tire etc.
General comments?
A very reliable compact Truck, I put about 80,000 K on it per year. Only failed to start when the battery died. Carried 1200 lbs of gravel from Toronto to Barrie (hey it was free) about 100 k
with no worries or problems.
Only problem now is a very high idle, won't kick down no matter what I try ( new air filter, cleaned Carb, new fuel filter, new cap rotor). Will try opening the choke a little to see if that works.
