1984 Nissan Sentra review from North America
"A great 'little car'"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The starter has had to be rebuilt a couple of times, and the fly wheel replaced several times.
Normal wear and tear...tires, spark plugs, muffler.
Obviously brake pads have needed to be replaced as car is almost 20 years olds, rotors need replacing.
Car has ran great up until about 1 year ago, starting to leak oil from rear seal badly, and running rough.
This care needs TLC.
CV joints have always been an issue, replaced several times... (could have been the mechanic I was dealing with at time)
General comments?
This 'little car' had been extremely reliable and a great value for it buck.
Getting a little old now... wonder if the newer models are as reliable.
Interior holds on strong, roomy and comfortable for the size of car.
Not much power, and it ain't no hotrod, but shes a reliable old girl.
