1993 Rover - Austin 400 GSI Turbo review from UK and Ireland
"Underated grandad looking boy racer smasher :)"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Owned it just a week so far only things I have noticed speakers blown (rear) and tape player sounds awful car has had a total of 5 previous keepers and shows hardly any sign of wear & tear.
General comments?
I have been after one of these cars for years now, but the price has always been very over inflated I thought. By chance I noticed one a dealer had for sale at £1500.00 so I went and had a look at it and saw the condition of the car and bought it on the spot for £1250.00.
Since owning the car (2 weeks to the day) I have notched up 1000 miles and the performance is outstanding I am not really a boy racer, but I have been burning up and down the motorway in this car like a 17 year old car theif!!!
It's comfy, roomy, very FAST and great v.f.m it goes for its first service at the end of the month so I will update this review then and will continue to do so while I own the car. but so far I can only say one bad word about it.
The P.A.S to me seems too over assisted... look here again soon for an update.
