1984 Holden Berlina VK review from Australia and New Zealand
"Worst of the Commodores"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Water Pump
Carburetor rebuild
Alternator
Speed gauge
Ignition Coil
door handle opener
3 speed Gear Box Rebuilt
tie rods
engine valve springs broken - needed rebuild
power steering pump leaked.
General comments?
I should of listened to my mates on this one.
Of all the commodores built this was probably the worst.
The infamous black 202 was a shocker and the EI was worse.
Probably the reason holden quickly moved to the 3.0 l efi in the vl. The Kingswood I had previous with a red 202 was a much more reliable engine and
cost me far less money and heartache.
