1994 Isuzu Amigo review from North America

The clutch went out at about 95000 miles.

The C.V. boots wear out fast, but my Amigo has 3" of lift, and 33" tires.

Exhaust get's pretty banged up. Ripped off all stock exhaust parts, replaced with Calmini header and 2.25" exhaust pipes.

Front bumper fell off after hitting a tree.

Added lots of high performance parts.

OEM parts are very expensive.

Gonna put a 350 Chevy motor in it.

Mods include, MSD 6AL ignition, Megasquirt fuel injection computer, 3" suspension lift, 33" BFG mud tires, heavy duty front prerunner brush guard, welded to frame. Tri-y headers, 2.25 inch exhaust, flowmaster muffler, terralow transfer case gears, front+rear limited slip diff, .25 inch skid plates.

The mods started because it was cheaper to make American made parts work on the Amigo, than to buy stock parts from the dealer. The truck is very well made, a good platform to build a decent off road truck. Not much fun on the highway.
