1995 Ford Taurus GL review from North America
"A good, reliable budget choice"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
We have had to replace the radiator, although this is probably due to being hit in the front end four months after purchasing the car. We have had some coolant leakage problems since then, but nothing major.
It is starting to get body squeaks, but this is not unusual for the station wagon.
The seats are showing wear, as well as the plastic interior panels.
General comments?
The car has been very reliable. We have the wagon, and it is great for hauling passengers and cargo for long distances in comfort.
This car has been in a wreck since we got it. It was hit in the front by a drunk driver in a Nissan Altima. The Altima was totaled. We drove the Taurus home. It is a very substantial, safe-feeling car.
It is starting to show some age. The interior is wearing quite a bit at this point, but it should hold up for quite a while longer.
