1991 Ford Tempo GL review from North America
"Great first car, however, I'm an import lover"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, you can't really expect much for a domestic automobile with that many miles on it, however, I haven't had too many significant problems with it other than general car-aging problems. The alternator was bad when I bought it, so I had to replace that. The AC compressor and clutch went out recently, but I don't really need the AC anyway. The ground strap rusted out and broke about 3 months ago. Most recently, the heater switch went out. The power steering pump is going out, so I'm gonna need to replace it fairly soon. These are general problems. You should expect them from all cars.
General comments?
I'm very satisfied with the reliability of this car. I can't believe how it's ran. I expected the car to die about 6 months after I bought it, however, it's still trucking along.
