1995 Ford Ranger xlt supercab review from North America
"This truck is a work-a-holic that will run forever"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only thing I've had to replace thus far was the carrier bearing in the drive shaft and the windheild. I only paid $500 for the truck so I didn't mind having to spend the $300 dollars for those repairs. Oh yeah and I had to pull the ranger emblem off a ranger in the junkyard and put that on there because mine fell off.
General comments?
This truck can take a lot of abuse. I put a full skid of sod (probably around 2000 lbs.) in it and drove for 5 miles with the mud flaps dragging on the ground no problem. The only thing I don't like about it is that the back end is way to light. The rear slides out in corners, (which is kinda cool), and burn-outs come almost too easy. However being a 16 years old I enjoy it. I couldn't ask for a nicer first car. The cab is roomy and its more comfortable than my moms van. The 4.0l v6 is extreamly peppy and handles great considering it's a truck. I also put a glasspack muffler on it and my friends are very jealous. It sounds like a V8 when its idling.
